Old Books and Fresh Flowers Perfume

When I originally got this scent in a sample pack, I liked it. It has a good blend of floral notes and musty undertones - like a vase of wildflowers in a secondhand bookstore. I then moved across the country, and the vial sat in a warm car for several days in the process. Now it has a stronger, sweeter scent, like almonds and citrus zest, but maintains its good foundation of freshness and dust. Highly recommend this one if you're looking for something slightly sweet, fairly neutral, and rather versatile.

Truly it smells like walking into a really old second hand bookstore that has run by a grandma who has too much potpourri in her house. It does a good job of mixing the old mustier smell with the fresh floral scent.

The bottle feels good quality but the spray doesn't smell the same as the sample. I'm trying not to be too disappointed since I know they are in different solutions, but it's a lot more orange-forward rather than heliotrope which is really what I loved. Still enjoying it, just not to the same level.
