Pearle Noire Perfume

Pearle Noir reminds me of pearls. Delicate, feminine and lovely. A true creamy yet powdery on me scent . Comforting and sexy.

This has so many of my favorite notes so I was not surprised when I ended up loving it. It is a lovely, deep sandalwood and cardamom wet on my skin. The aniseed is perfect - not too much, just enough to give it an edge. Pearle Noir makes me think of walking rainy streets of London, then snuggling up with a cup of tea in front of a fireplace under a luxe cashmere blanket.

Another gorgeous skin scent from Alkemia. This house does these types of scents the best in my opinion and this one is no exception. This smells clean and slightly salty on my skin. There's also something dark about it, “darkly opulencent” is a perfect description. I could associate this smell with moonlight. It’s very beautiful and I’m thrilled that I opted for a full size instead of sampling it first.

I purchased a large collection of samples and this was the standout for me. I'm not a huge vanilla person, but I love this scent. It so pretty without being overbearingly sweet. I feel like it can tone down the spiciness of eau duelle or the sweetness of vanilla tea. It's right in the middle! I could wear it every day or when I'm dressing up, it feels versatile to me.

This just smells so fancy in the most natural way. Soft, sweet, feminine. I prefer more masculine scents usually but this is a pleasant surprise! It's a delight to wear to sleep and feel like a wealthy young widow.
