Moon Lust Perfume

She landed upon the earth not with a crash but with a whisper. Silk, water, fluttering of eyelashes. This communicates a quiet, burning lust without ever saying a word. It does not shout. This is for a woman whose fluid on her feet like a ballerina. Slightly creamy, a pinch of modesty, a pinch of fertile skin, and shimmering with the tang of fertile skin. Beautiful! Elegant!

It smelled divine when I first opened the bottle. I got this ethereal creamy note that has a hint of something floral. Not lactonic, but more pearlescent and silky. It definitely has that still when applied, but there is also a bright, somewhat sharp forest base-note the closer you get to the skin. It smells like freshly cut cedar to me. This gives it a more complex unisex vibe. It fairly subtle and doesn’t last as long as some of the others I’ve tried. Great if you want something softer and more sensuous.

Moon Lust is one of my favorite perfumes of the many, many I have tried. It is a lovely feminine scent, one that is hard for me to describe beyond what is listed. Luminous, yes. Your skin but better, yes. It does evoke the image of moonlight. There is an alluring quality to it, arousing and sensual without being dirty or heady. The blonde woods plus luminous skin notes have a tang almost like cypress or juniper to my nose. I've heard a few people liken this to a grown-up bubblegum scent, which I can pick up on. However, this is NOT a bubblegum scent. It's perhaps bubblegum adjacent, and so so much more beautiful than I would've imagined. It's one of my top faves and one of the only perfumes (of my 100s) that I've reordered a full-size.

bright. fresh. clean. grounded. simultaneously arousing and soothing. subtle, but evocative. woodsy without tipping over either side of the line of androgyny. like a bright full moon on a cool winter night. perfect if you like very clean, very bright scents standing tall against a delightful wooded background.
