Tabac adds a strong note of pipe tobacco that brings mysterious, sensual, warm, and/or nostalgic element to any perfume composition. Our Tabac has a honey caramel-whiskey-hay-vanilla aspect that blends beautifully with vanilla, patchouli, incense, amber, and woody perfumes or can be work on its own as a unique stand alone perfume.

Best layered under: Spices, medium and dark ambers, cacao, vanillas, leathers, woods, fruits, robust florals, and anything with strong patchouli

Best for fixing: Perfumes that are boring, too dry/woody, patchoulis or animalistic musks that lean too dirty, ambers that lean too powdery, gourmands that are too sweet, or heady florals that are too indolic.

Note: Tabac is a heavier essence that can sometimes separate. This is natural for essences that do not use phthalate binding ingredients. Shake the bottle gently before use for optimum results.

Layering notes let you shift and alter your scents to match your mood or the seasons, to take advantage of subtle skin chemistry changes, or to dabble with the olfactory arts of niche perfumery. Layering notes are also an easy way to customize your favorite scents and make them uniquely and unforgettably yours.... or can help rekindle a romance with perfume you once loved but are getting a little bored with. The simplicity and uncomplicated linear qualities of single notes are distinctive in and of themselves for stand alone.

So good 😊

This reminded me of my grandfather's sweet smelling pipe tobacco, before it was lit. I love this so much and find myself using it as a base to stack other earthy scents onto. Lasts all day for me, which is uncommon. I think this is a unisex scent that adds depth to others or is really nice on it's own.

Way too strong for me, it stuck around for almost 3 days in the room I sprayed it in. I feel like the scent needs some smokiness and some of the layers to be diluted a little bit.

Bought for Husband

While this scent/formula is not for my husband, I give it 5 stars! The staying power was great and it smelled nice in the bottle, but mixing with my husband’s chemistry was a no go. Kind of wish the staying power wasn’t so good :). All jokes aside- great product, just not for him! It’s important to remember scents won’t smell the same on everyone!
