Build Your Own 5 Piece Perfume Samples Set

Alkemia has stellar customer service. They ship quickly and securely every single time. This is my third order; I ordered a pre-built pack and a byo pack because I wanted to try Ghostfire and Haunted and Bewitched. Super high quality, unique scents, and great customer service! I do recommend resting everything about a month before you test them.

I absolutely have fallen in love wiyh Alkemia. My only problem is choosing a favourite to buy as a full size as they are all so perfect - the best perfumes I have ever smelled.

i think this is a perfect deal for the perfumer enjoyer\lover! you can curate and collect your own small sample collection, neatly in one place, AND the lovely people who pack the orders often if not every time, include extras! and..if i might be a tad mean, unlike some bigger stores, despite the amount of extras, there have never been any repeats! and i have ordered the 5 peace adleast 4 times!

I'm reserving final judgement until I've let all the perfumes rest longer as so many people I've talked to have said Alkemia perfumes in particular benefit from a long rest period, but my initial impression is that I love them! I was most keen on trying St Louis Cemetery #1 as I'm on a quest to find a photoreal dirt/petrichor/pavement (graveyard) scent and so far it's my dream come true. Of all the scents I ordered in the sampler, this one has the least longevity on me but I'm not sure if it's because of the notes, my skin chemistry, lack of rest, or a bit of all three. The other scents I tried (Arabesque, Book of Shadows, Gothique, Silver Sky) all have great longevity on me even without a long rest period (except for Silver Sky! so I'm inclined to believe aquatic/rainy scents in general just don't last as well, boo). Book of Shadows in particular really sticks around and stays strong on me. All in all, I'm extremely pleased so far! Arabesque is a delicious scent, as is Gothique, and Book of Shadows captures the smell of old books in a library really well. Silver Sky I'm also enjoying, but I'm finding on me it smells more like a classic men's aquatic cologne or aftershave more than the scent of rain that I was hoping for. I also received samples of Lilacs Along the Winding Drive and Love Flight of a Candy Heart. I'm not typically a floral/feminine perfume gal, but Lilacs at first application smells exactly like a perfume my grandmother wore which for me is not a negative, but gives me a very emotional scent memory of her which I appreciate. The dry down still has that lingering violet smell but has a more masculine depth it. Not an every day scent for me, but one I'll reach for when I'm missing my grandmother. Love Flight I actually haven't tried on my skin yet as it's extremely fruity out of the bottle and not at all my vibe, however, in the bottle I do think it smells delicious! Just not something I associate with myself haha. I don't have a huge perfume budget, but if the longevity improves even a little bit more after some rest, I fully intend to full size St Louis Cemetery #1, it's a gorgeous atmospheric and I want to smell like it all the time! (Side note: Alkemia, please don't discontinue it, it's a masterpiece!!) I can see myself picking up larger bottles of almost all of these as they really suit me :)

Amazing scents!! Most were exactly as described. I received 2 extra samples with my purchase, one was Lilacs Along The Winding Drive which is a scent that I purchased in my sample set, so I was thrilled to have an extra, the other was The Greening Wood, the only scent I was not happy with but I will let it rest for a while and test it again to see If my opinion has changed. I liked 5 out of 6 different scents (2 were duplicates, so 7 total) that I recieved, which is a very high hit rate for me! My favorites are probably Moss Maiden and Lilacs Along The Winding Drive. The scents I recieved are Moss Maiden, Gaea, Lost Highways, Uncharted, Lilacs Along The Winding Drive, and The Greening Wood. I will definitely be full sizing a few when I run out as well as buying another sample pack sometime soon! Thank you Alkemia!!! <3
