A rare blend of proprietary perfumery ingredients carefully oxidized by sunlight, sand, air, sea salt, water, and ocean minerals. The result is as changeable and morphing as the ocean... earthy, sweet, musky, saline.
"Let us look for secret things somewhere in the world, on the blue shore of silence or where the storm has passed, rampaging like a train. There the faint signs are left, coins of time and water, debris, celestial ash and the irreplaceable rapture of sharing in the labor of solitude and the sand." - Pablo Neruda
Art: "The Shore of the Turquoise Sea" by Albert Bierstadt, 1878
Note: It is unlawful to possess, sell or transport natural ambergris in the U.S.
This perfume is from my first ever batch of Alkemia perfumes, and it's one of my ... view morefavorite fragrances! It's very safe; just when you want to smell really good, but don't want dousing yourself with anything that might elicit strong impressions. It's a little leaning masculine on me, but I smelled this on a female friend and it smelled terrific on her. I am not very familiar with the true ambergris smell, but this is a very reliable woody aquatic. Sillage isn't really big (I think I will try to test ultime on this), longevity is about 2 hours (might be longer on some people though), and scent is very versatile! I'd recommend this to people who aren't big into perfumes, but just want to smell nice, and for those who can't really wear strong perfumes like doctors or nurses. view less
