Krampus is Saint Nicholas/Santa Claus/Father Christmas's devilish sidekick who punishes the naughty with a whip or rusty chain before dragging them to his fiery lair in a burlap sack. Krampus was originally found in the Alpine regions, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic but he's been traveling around the world lately.
