Book of Night Perfume

Trying this a year after I bought it - it’s a lovely “book” scent- initially I get the sense of something cold and airy which I think is the berries and oakmoss actually, like sitting at a window at night and smelling the garden below. With a very comforting chai + cashmere combo - it really does call to mind an old library on a dark cloudy day.

I only started with a sample but I immediately got a full bottle, I love this scent.

I've tried many perfumes featuring tobacco and one thing I've always disliked is how loud the tobaccos can be. This tobacco is very much in the background but it really adds depth to this scent. It's sweet, almost soapy and clean smelling due to the oakmoss and berries. The profiles contrast but blend so seamlessly. So when the tobacco enters, you would think it would stand out and become too aggressive, it does not; it adds a mature layer to this perfume.

To me this perfume is truly unisex, it blends masculine and feminine scents and create this scent bubble that feels familiar yet unorthodox and unusual.
